Our mission is to design smarter buildings through understanding the changing social, political, economic and ecological challenges of today's world. With a careful project-by-project analysis of these factors we can transform architecture into a dialog of where we are today and where we want to be tomorrow.
Creating A Lasting Impression
What if the ancient Greeks designed their buildings the way we do today; would anyone want to visit them?
Better yet would there be anything to visit at all? That would be a resounding NO! Can you imagine in 1000 years tourists showing up to snap pics of the box stores at your local strip mall! To often there is not enough thought in the impact of a building on the site, community fabric, or the environment. There must be a delicate balance between architecture and the environment established in order to make lasting and meaningful design. Every project big or small should evaluate its values and what it is contributing to the greater community through its existence. |
All buildings are significant to the person building them but what would be the effect of understanding a building as something greater that an immediate use? Can we build so that even our smallest structures are important to more than just one generation?
